Funds will support Black-led and Black-centered narratives that share the expansive experiences, through stories and media, of San Francisco’s diverse Black communities’ beauty and brilliance.

Funds will support culturally affirming healing spaces, access to mental and behavioral health support such as one-on-one therapy, restorative justice, access to food vouchers, and spaces of fellowship that uplift Black joy.

Funds will support enrichment activities to inspire learning and offer programs where youth can celebrate their culture and foster academic success. Programs will offer dance, music, tutoring and other activities with a Black cultural lens.

Funds will support cash transfers through guaranteed income pilots and direct payments, support entrepreneurs and small businesses, build pipelines and increase income and economic mobility through employment and workforce programs.

Funds will support grants, including mini-grants, to individuals or small-medium sized organizations to implement community-generated ideas that restore hope and power, and foster healing spaces in the Black community.

Funds will support culturally relevant economic, academic, housing and health services for black people and their families across generations. Funding will also support technical assistance and capacity building activities.
